善律 이야기

재즈를 잘 모르지만 한 번 우연히 듣고 앨범을 구입하게 만든 내가 두 번째로 사게된 재즈 앨범.

Cannonball Adderley (알토 색스폰)와  Bill Evans(피아노)가 같이 한 앨범.  

듣고 있으면 너무 편안하고 기분이 좋아진다. 계속해서 듣게 만듬.

Know What I Mean? is a 1962 album by jazz musician Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, accompanied by Bill Evans and the rhythm section of the Modern Jazz Quartet. It was released on Riverside label as RLP-433.

Barely noticeable on the album cover is a small picture of Bill Evans, directly underneath the sculpture to Adderley's right.

앨범 커버사진에는  Adderley 의 오른쪽에 있는 조각 바로 밑에 알아보기 힘든 Bill Evans의 작은 사진이 있다(자세히 보면 보인다 ^^)

The Allmusic review by Rick Anderson awarded the album 4 stars and states "It's hard to imagine any fan of mainstream jazz not finding much to love on this very fine recording".^[3] The Penguin Guide to Jazz awarded the album 3 stars out of 4 stating "'The quartet date with Bill Evans was one of the last chances to hear him as sole horn, and he sounds fine".^[4]
